LAWRENCEVILLE -- A facility that offers rehabilitation services recently earned an award from its parent company for an annual audit of its program.
Life Care Center of Lawrenceville was given a gold award after an 111-point quality audit from Life Care Centers of America that measured environment, human resources, clinical programming and systems management.
"Receiving a gold score is an excellent way to demonstrate the high quality rehabilitation programs that we offer within the community," said Bradley Petty, rehab services manager at Life Care Center of Lawrenceville.
The facility offers services from a team of physical, occupational and speech therapists.
The annual audit scores how the team works with other departments to provide a cohesive plan of care, according to a news release.
The local facility is one of three operated in Georgia by LCCA. The nationwide healthcare company was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Cleveland, Tenn.
