Mr. Alan Webster III, age 62, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Webster Jr. He is survived by his son, William Alan Webster IV, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Kennedy Webster, Buford, GA and Avery Webster, Buford, GA; mother, Wilma Billie Lewis Webster, Buford, GA; brother, former Mayor of Sugar Hill, GA, and sister-in-law, Gary and Lari Jean Webster, Sugar Hill, GA; aunts, Polly Lewis Ward, Jupiter, FL and Sara Lewis Nisbet, Corpus Christie, TX; three nieces; and numerous cousins. Mr. Webster was born December 7, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1967 graduate of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, GA. He was a singer, songwriter and musician and played all types of musical instruments. He was an Eagle Scout and an avid Beatles fan. He was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Rock Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Elvira Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or to American Cancer Society in memory of Alan Webster.
