50th anniversary
L.C. and Alayne Smith of Lawrenceville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 16, 1962.
L.C. is a retired Lawrenceville police detective. Alayne is retired from teaching in Gwinnett County schools.
They have two children: Jeff Smith, married to Katie and Doug Smith, married to Christy.
