Fans Choice Player of the Week
- Reggie Carter, South Gwinnett
- Jordan Dandridge, Duluth
- Rashad Hall, Berkmar
- David McTier, Grayson
1056 total votes.
Berkmar athlete Rashad Hall won online voting this week as the Daily Post's Fans Choice Player of the Week.
The junior got 39 percent of the vote to win a competition with South Gwinnett's Reggie Carter (37 percent), Grayson's David McTier (17 percent) and Duluth's Jordan Dandridge (7 percent).
Each week during the football season, the Daily Post will nominate four players for its Fans Choice Player of the Week. Online voting at www.gwinnettprepsports.com will begin Monday mornings and will end Thursdays at noon. The winner will be featured online and in the Friday print edition.
Hall plays wide receiver, quarterback, defensive back and returns kicks for the Patriots. He earned the honor after his 90-yard kickoff return sparked Berkmar to a season-ending, comeback win over Dacula.
"Rashad's a hard working kid," Berkmar head coach Jonathan Sanks said. "He's very responsible. He's the definition of a leader. He comes and works hard every day and never complains. He just handles the task at hand. He's just a great kid, a good student. That return against Dacula was big because that's what changed the momentum of the football game."
