SNELLVILLE -- The city of Snellville and the Entrepreneurship Alliance program is holding the second annual Global Entrepreneurship Week event at South Gwinnett High School.
More than 75 students and 12 local entrepreneurs plan to attend the event, which will focus on mining ideas and assisting students in their business ventures.
Students will finalize their ideas throughout the semester and open their business by the end of the school year.
"Global Entrepreneurship Week is the largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare," said Eric G. Van Otteren, with the city of Snellville.
"During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators," Van Otteren said. "These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and investors, introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities."
