SUWANEE -- A facility for Alzheimer's and memory care that is scheduled to open next year in Suwanee recently named a community relations director.
Divine Taylor joins Autumn Leaves of Sugarloaf, a 26,000 square foot facility operated by The LaSalle Group and Constant Care Family Management, which will manage, design and operate the community. The $10 million project at 1455 Satellite Blvd. will provide care for 47 residents.
Taylor said she has real estate and national sales experience, and her grandmother had Alzheimer's.
"The fact that my grandmother had Alzheimer's has led me to develop a passion for helping seniors and generating awareness about Alzheimer's disease," she said.
There are plans for at least five more similar facilities in the metro Atlanta area.
Darin Graham, director of sales for Constant Care Family Management, the property management company for Autumn Leaves memory care communities, said Taylor was hired in part because of her strong sales leadership and marketing skills.
"She has a deep commitment to helping our residents, strengthening our mission and supporting our employees," Graham said. "We are grateful to have her expertise as we move forward building communities in the Atlanta area."
Taylor previously worked for PQC International, a management consulting firm. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Bowie State University.
