Collins Hill running back Thomas Harris won online voting this week as the Daily Post's Fans Choice Player of the Week.
The sophomore got 44 percent of the vote to win a competition with North Gwinnett's Caleb Scott (37 percent), South Gwinnett's Coray Keel (14 percent) and Grayson's Wayne Gallman (4 percent). Nearly 3,000 votes were recorded this week.
Each week during the football season, the Daily Post will nominate four players for its Fans Choice Player of the Week. Online voting at www.gwinnettprepsports.com will begin Monday mornings and will end Thursdays at noon. The winner will be featured online and in the Friday print edition.
Harris earned the honor after carrying 27 times for 148 yards in last Friday's victory over Duluth.
"He had a great game for us," Collins Hill head coach Kevin Reach said. "He's a fast kid."
