The Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team will host a two-day camp for youth players in conjunction with the Greater Gwinnett Baseball League on Saturday and Sunday at Rhodes Jordan Park, Field 6, in Lawrenceville. GGC coaches and players will run the sessions.
The Grizzlies will begin the camp on Saturday with 9-and-under and 10-and-under players from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The event continues the same day from 1-3:30 p.m. with 11-and-under and 12-and-under players. The camp ends Sunday with players 13-and-under to 15-and-under from 2-4:30 p.m.
"We look forward to partnering with the GGBL," said Grizzlies head coach Brad Stromdahl. "We are excited about the opportunity to help younger players develop their talents and love of the game."
Players attending will receive a clinic T-shirt and two tickets to a Grizzlies baseball game in the spring. Registration is just $10 and is open to all youngsters. Additional information on how to register can be found on the GGBL web site at http://www.signupanytime.com/GGBL/event/20158.html.
