ALBANY — A Terrell County sheriff's deputy is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.
Albany police said 21-year-old Jordon Ball was off duty Friday night and unloading his personal handgun when he shot himself in the right leg.
The incident remains under investigation by the Albany Police Department. A phone listing for Ball could not be located.
