SUWANEE -- Oh, snap.
It's that time of year again when the residents of Suwanee gather their favorite photos and submit them into the annual Snap Suwanee contest.
All Suwanee residents who are professional or amateur photographers are invited to join the competition. Judges are interested in photos within the city limits, as long as the area is recognizable, and anything goes, like park benches, fountains, festivals and streets.
Approximately a dozen photos will be selected to be framed on the walls of Suwanee City Hall. There were 13 winners for 2012 -- 43 photographers submitted 129 snapshots. The new pictures will be framed and mounted by March and will stay in City Hall until next year's competition.
Only five high-resolution photos are allowed for submission per photographer. Photos must be at least 300 dpi in order to be printed and exhibited. All photos and applications need to be turned in by Dec. 31. Applications can be found at www.suwanee.com.
