DULUTH -- Gwinnett County police were investigating Friday night a homicide at a Duluth apartment complex.
Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said officers were called to the Menlo Creek Apartments at 4370 Satellite Blvd. at approximately 3:40 p.m. Friday, in response to shooting at the complex's 200 building.
Upon arrival, authorities found an "adult white male deceased from a gunshot wound," Smith said. Detectives were actively working the case, he said, but no further information was provided.
"At this time we are not releasing any information regarding suspects or motive," Smith said. "The victim's identity is also being withheld pending notification of next of kin."
