LILBURN -- Gwinnett police are asking for help identifying a pair of trailer thieves caught on camera.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said Friday that the criminals -- described as a white male and white female -- took the flatbed trailer from a driveway at 4217 Walking Lane in unincorporated Lilburn on Oct. 1.
The suspects were caught on security cameras backing a white pickup truck up to the trailer.
"The male suspect cuts off a lock and chain securing the trailer, then the trailer is hooked up and towed away by the suspect vehicle," Smith said.
The duo is also believed responsible for additional cases in Gwinnett, and "possibly other areas of metro Atlanta," Smith said.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact GCPD's motor vehicle theft unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
