Marvin S. “Steve” Richards, age 59, of Dacula, GA, passed away after he lost his hard fought battle with cancer on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:15 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Becky Schreifels Richards, son, Bernd (Allyson) Cox, Jr., grandchildren, Makensey and Scott Cox, and sisters, Linda (Jim) Langford, Gayle (Doug) Edwards. Steve was a member of the New Hope Road Church of Christ in Dacula, GA. Funeral Services will be today 10:00 a.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, IL with Larry Fryer officiating. Burial will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville, IL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Hope Road Church of Christ in Dacula, GA.
