GAINESVILLE (AP) -- Authorities say a man pulled from an apartment complex that caught fire in Gainesville has died.
Gainesville Fire Chief Jon Canada says that firefighters found the 65-year-old man unconscious inside the apartments around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Fire officials say he was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he died. His name wasn't immediately released.
The fire chief said another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Canada said the cause of the blaze and the man's cause of death both remain under investigation.
