Gwinnett Daily Post
In today's world where humor is almost non-existent, I found your column ("Skeeter has a lot to learn about politics," May 19, 6A) delightful and it elicited more than a few chuckles from me. My wife, hearing me laugh, asked what was so funny because that is unusual from me while reading the news in the Daily Post.
I read the article to her and she commented that Dick Yarbrough is a very wise man. I admire Yarbrough's positive views concerning the teaching profession. I'm a 77-year-old retired middle school math teacher/principal from California who had the good sense to marry a lovely Georgia girl. Following retirement she brought me back to God's country.
