After a successful debut last year, the $1 Million Challenge will return to the Legacy on Lanier Golf Club beginning Friday.
The local club will host daily qualifying on Legacy's 10th hole from Friday through June 21, with the top 25 golfers who are closest to the pin earning qualifying spots. Those players will be in the pool for the $1 Million Challenge at 9 a.m. on June 23, when a hole-in-one wins $1 million. Golf trips, equipment and other prizes will be awarded to the top 10 finishers.
In order to qualify, players must pre-register in the golf shop when checking in for the round and must tee off before 2 p.m. For more details. go to www.lakelanierislandsgolf.com.
