The Gwinnett County Track and Field Club held its season-ending banquet on Wednesday at Collins Hill.

Peachtree Ridge's Josh Brickell was named boys runner of the year and North Gwinnett's Malcolm Jackson was the field performer of the year. Brickell won the state championship in the 3,200-meter run and Jackson won state in the triple jump. Brookwood head coach Mark Kelley, who led the Broncos to the Class AAAAA state championship, was named the boys coach of the year.

Brookwood's Caroline Kissel and Greater Atlanta Christian's Malieka Slayton were named co-runners of the year. Kissel won the state championship in the 1,600 and Slayton won state in the 100, 200 and on two relay teams. GAC's Brad Kinser, who led the Spartans to the Class AA state title was named coach of the year. Dacula's Anna Machovec was selected as the field performer of the year.

The club also inducted its hall of fame members, which included North Gwinnett's Kibwe Johnson, Brookwood's Scott Erbach, Brookwood/Mill Creek's Jerry Arnold, Collins Hill's Courtney Champion and Brookwood's Andrea Pappas.
