Unless someone has a classic waiting in the wings this horror/thriller could be the last worthy entry in the now very-tired "found-footage" sub-genre. After stumbling into a huge crater in a field, three high-school boys slowly discover they have the power to move objects at will which, as you might guess, leads to major friction and disorder. Director Josh Trank and screenwriter Max Landis (son of director John Landis) avoid typical horror cliches and deliver a film that, in addition to being creepy and scary, subliminally touches on religious and spiritual themes.
Technical specs: aspect ratio: Widescreen (1080p/1.85:1), audio: English (DTS-HD MA 5.1), French and Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1), subtitles: English, French and Spanish.
