BUFORD -- It's been more than 25 years since they first donned their eye-liner, skin tight pants and embellished peace sign shirts, but Enuff Z'nuff is still working the glam-rock look, complete with teased hair. The band will perform May 23 and 24 at 37 Main, a rock cafe in Buford.

Joe White, an owner of 37 Main, said the two-night show is Enuff Z'nuff's first return to Georgia in more than 15 years.

"They've been performing for so long and we're finally able to bring them to Buford," he said.

While their style hasn't changed much, original band members Derek Frigo and Vikki Fox were replaced with Tory Stoffregan and Randi Scott on lead guitar and drums. However, fans can still expect Chip Z'nuff's finger slides on bass and Donny Vie's intonation on lead vocals.

"I know that what goes up comes down," lyrics from their 1989 hit "Fly High Michelle," speak to the band's career. Over the years, they have experienced success and failure including the death of band members and group separation. Yet, next week's performances will add to their tally of tours and include songs from the twelfth studio album, which was released in May.

Although 37 Main usually enforces an 18 and older policy during their mid-week shows, the Enuff Z'nuff two-night event is open to people of all ages and is a family event.

White described Wednesday's live band night as "in your face rock 'n' roll." Opening acts The Sinner Saints, Slippery When Wet -- a Bon Jovi Tribute band -- and the Athens band, a group of youth rockers, will perform at 8 p.m. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Donnie and Chip's acoustic show on Thursday will start at 10 p.m. after the Dueling Pianos' show at 8 p.m.

White said there will be a meet and greet with Enuff Z'nuff after both shows.
