Cavanna Packaging has grand opening
DULUTH -- Cavanna Packaging USA, a subsidiary of Italian global company Cavana S.p.A., recently moved its North American headquarters to Duluth.
According to a news release, the businesses' arrival in Gwinnett "marks a new and important addition to the county's thriving packaging and material handling industry."
At the grand opening, which is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. May 24, residents of Gwinnett County can come out and taste Italian specialties and tour the facility.
The program will also include remarks from Riccardo Cavanna, CEO, arriving from the global Cavanna headquarters in Prato Sesia, Italy, as well as local elected officials and business leaders.

According to its website, Cavanna Packaging Group is "a leader in the manufacturing of integrated flowpack packaging systems to be implemented in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
