Peachtree Ridge will host a signing celebration for 21 seniors who will play college athletics Monday at 3 p.m. in the Lions' commons area.
The group includes seven soccer signees, with girls Alanna Dineen (Alabama-Birmingham), Katey Lippitt (Georgia Southern) and Shelby Jennings (Valdosta State) joining four boys soccer signees -- Juan Herrera (Limestone), Daryl Sack (Darton), J.T. Taplin (Limestone) and Michael Valenzuela (Queens).
The honorees also include track athletes Lauren Kelly (Georgia), Matthew Morris (Kennesaw State) and Madison Sears (Gardner-Webb), as well as baseball players Billy Best (Georgia Gwinnett), Donald Frew (Young Harris) and Colton Ramsey (Chattahoochee Valley).
Other college-bound Lions expected to attend the celebration are wrestler Tre Horton (Brewton-Parker), basketball players Benny Johnson (Cornell) and Cole Romaguera (Oglethorpe), lacrosse players Garrett Miller (Berry) and Scott Tafoya (Millsaps), tennis players Erin Mills (Tusculum) and Jessica Northcutt (Samford) and volleyball player Lucy Riddle (University of the South).
