SUWANEE -- Suwanee's Town Center Park better be prepared with water bowls, clean-up bags and extra treats on Saturday because Star 94's seventh annual Woofstock is invading the field for a pet party.

"The city of Suwanee has always been a great partner," said Mike Moshure, assistant promotions director at Star 94. "They really know how to do it right and help us throw a great event. Plus the park is in a great location, has free and easy parking and is supported by the community."

And partygoers are encouraged to bring their pets because this party isn't just for dogs and cats -- all pets are allowed to join the fun, as long as they are on a leash. In the past, there have been pot-bellied pigs, birds, ferrets, snakes and iguanas as well the thousands of dogs that attend each year.

At the event, there will be a Frisbee dog show, Air Dogs Dock Diving shows, which is new this year, a biggest dog contest, a smallest dog contest, a pet/owner look-a-like contest and plenty more for the pets. This winners from the contests take home a gift basket from The PawPlex of Suwanee.

This isn't only a dog's day. There are inflatables for the kids, pet vendors, pet adoptions and live music, suitable for the whole family.

The music starts at 3:30 p.m. with The Electric Sons, then at 4:30 p.m., Glow takes stage and the concert ends with Mirror at 6:30 p.m.

"If you want to see dogs in every shape, size, breed and color then this is the event to attend," Moshure said. "This event is fun for the entire family."
