Gwinnett Daily Post
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- For the third time on their eight-game road trip in Ohio, the Gwinnett Braves have been rained out. Rain forced the postponement of Friday night's game between the Gwinnett Braves (18-9) and the Columbus Clippers (15-12). The game was originally scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. start time at Huntington Park in Columbus.
An official make-up date has not yet been announced. The teams meet again for a four-game series at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville June 14-17.
The G-Braves now return home to Coolray Field for a 10-day, 11-game homestand. Game 1 of a two-game weekend series against Charlotte begins today with a 7:05 first pitch. The Gwinnett starter will be right-hander Todd Redmond (2-2, 3.04), who had been scheduled to pitch Friday night in Columbus. The second-place Knights are scheduled to pitch left-hander Charlie Leesman (1-3, 3.68).
