TOLEDO — Rain forced the postponement of Monday night’s game between the Gwinnett Braves (17-7) and the Toledo Mud Hens (14-9). The game was originally scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start at Fifth Third Field in Toledo.
An official make-up date has not yet been announced. The teams meet again for a four-game series at Coolray Field from Friday, May 11 through Monday, May 14, and the game could be made up during that series. More details will be announced at www.gwinnettbraves.com when possible.
The G-Braves continue the road trip as they open a four-game series at the Columbus Clippers on Tuesday night. The G-Braves’ starting pitcher has yet to be announced, while the Clippers are expected to start left-hander David Huff (0-1, 9.00). First pitch from Huntington Park is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
