SNELLVILLE -- Ann Wilder, program director for the Eastside Heritage Behavorial Health Center, was recently elected to the board of directors for Gwinnett's branch of The National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Wilder joined the Eastside administration in 2010 and has separate master's degrees in counseling and business administration. Eastside's Heritage Center cares for adults and geriatric patients with behavioral health symptoms.

NAMI-Gwinnett "advocates for a complete community system of services that supports a person with mental illness in their recovery."

"Being part of NAMI is a true honor," Wilder said. "So many individuals are touched by mental illness, we want everyone to know that help is available."
