SUGAR HILL -- The city of Sugar Hill continues to make progress in its renovation of West Broad Street, and another section will be reopened in coming weeks.
On April 15, the city plans to open access on West Broad Street through to Church Street from the west. This will allow motorists traveling east easy access to Level Creek Road, and access to Sugar Hill City Hall by looping back on Level Creek Road, city officials said.
When traveling west, drivers can now turn right onto Church Street, left onto Level Creek Road and right onto Alton Tucker Boulevard in order to reach Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
Hillcrest Drive from Ga. Highway 20 to West Broad Street will also be opened, but Temple Drive will remain closed to through traffic. The short section of West Broad Street directly adjacent to City Hall will remain closed until further notice.
West Broad Street is scheduled to be reopened completely in the fall. For more information, visit www.cityofsugarhill.com.
