SUWANEE -- North Gwinnett picked up a big Region 7-AAAAA girls soccer win on Tuesday night with a 2-1 win in overtime over Norcross.
Lauren Harriman scored the first goal for North (8-4, 4-0) in regulation off a penalty kick and provided the game winner in overtime off an assist from Taylor Burns.
Austin McCausland also helped with a strong game at keeper for North.
Jordan Brown scored the lone goal for Norcross.
Collins Hill 7, Mountain View 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Loren Mitchell of Collins Hill booted home four goals on Tuesday night to lead the Eagles to a 7-0 shutout over Mountain View in Area 7-AAAAA.
Adding one goal each for Collins Hill (6-5, 2-2) was Taylor Donohue, Dena Cisic and Brooke McQueen. Halla Jibreen and Kamilah Talbi split time at keeper in the shutout.
Brookwood 8, South 0
SNELLVILLE -- Five different Brookwood players scored on Tuesday as the Broncos rolled to an 8-0 win over South Gwinnett in Area 8-AAAAA.
Fiorella Gamarra, Sophie Pleger and Meredith Towey led the attack with two goals each, while Sanon Williams and Michelle Allen each scored one. Kim Fincher helped with two assists, while Gamarra, Williams, Briel Power and Carolina Garcia each added one for Brookwood (7-5, 4-1).
Dacula 4, Shiloh 0
SNELLVILLE -- Makayla Clack of Dacula scored one goal and assisted two more on Tuesday night in helping the Falcons to a 4-0 win over Shiloh in Area 8-AAAAA.
Adding one goal each for Dacula (9-2-1, 3-1) were Lauren Vick, Katie McAdams and Amanda Kent. Recording the shutout at keeper was Magaly Gutierrez.
Duluth 5, Meadowcreek 0
DULUTH -- Duluth scored its first Area 7-AAAAA win on Tuesday with a 5-0 shutout of Meadowcreek.
Jules Luther led Duluth (2-7-1, 1-3) with four goals, while Sierra Villa scored one. Betsi Zuniga, Kiana Viller and Shannon Coulombe each helped with an assist, while Jasmine White earned the shutout at keeper.
Providence 5, Cross Keys 0
ATLANTA -- Providence improved to 8-3 on Tuesday night with a 5-0 shutout over Cross Keys in a non-area game.
Brooke Kelly led the offense with two goals, while Robyn Lowndes added a goal and two assists. Kat Slayton helped with a goal and an assist, while Jule Trawick scored a goal. Lauren Hoyt also had an assist.
Norcross 3, North 2
SUWANEE -- Norcross logged its first Area 7-AAAAA win on Tuesday night, topping North Gwinnett 3-2. The contest came down to penalty kicks, where the Blue Devils outshot the Bulldogs 3-1 to earn the win.
Juan Martinez scored two goals in regulation for Norcross (4-8-1, 1-3).
Collins Hill 6, Mountain View 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Five different Collins Hill players scored as the Eagles posted a 6-0 shutout of Mountain View on Tuesday night in Area 7-AAAAA.
Emmanual Raji scored twice for Collins Hill (8-3, 3-1), while Amiri Abraham, Nomis Cisic, Edan Mendoza and Martin Sedarri each scored once.
Parkview 3, Grayson 0
LILBURN -- Parkview blanked Grayson 3-0 on Tuesday night to improve to 7-2-3 overall and 4-0 in Area 8-AAAAA.
Abel Nguyen, Sami Dikmessalim and Raymond Muro each scored one goal, while Muro and Zachary Welch each recorded an assist. Earning the shutout at keeper was Diego Casillas.
Central 3, Berkmar 2
LILBURN -- Central goalkeeper Charlie DeLoatche came up big with 17 saves Tuesday night in helping the Black Knights hold on for a 3-2 win over Berkmar in Area 8-AAAAA.
Juan Gonzales scored two goals for Central (8-4-1, 4-1), while Isaac Ramirez scored one.
Dacula 2, Shiloh 1
SNELLVILLE -- Dacula picked up its first Area 8-AAAAA win on Tuesday night by edging Shiloh 2-1. After ending regulation and overtime knotted at 1-1, Dacula outshot Shiloh 3-1 in penalty kicks to pick up the win.
Dacula improved to 6-7 overall and 1-3 in the area.
Meadowcreek 2, Duluth 0
DULUTH -- Meadowcreek improved to 8-2 overall and 2-2 in Area 7-AAAAA on Tuesday with a 2-0 blanking of Duluth.
Scoring for Meadowcreek was Chris Morgan and Christian Acosta with one goal each.
Brookwood 3, South 0
SNELLVILLE -- Brookwood stayed unbeaten in Area 8-AAAAA on Tuesday night with a 3-0 shutout over South Gwinnett.
Scoring one goal each for Brookwood (10-2, 5-0) was Kelson Brunelle, McCade Bushell and Braham Gamarra, while Bushell, Bryson Dorsey and Trevor Mooney each had an assist.
Cross Keys 3, Providence 0
ATLANTA -- Cross Keys scored a 3-0 win over Providence on Tuesday night in a non-area game. Providence fell to 6-5.
Wesleyan 4, Holy Innocents' 2
NORCROSS -- Eric Sunderman of Wesleyan recorded a hat trick on Tuesday night to lead Wesleyan 4-2 over Holy Innocents'.
Drew Sutton added the fourth goal for the Wolves, while Cort Coxhead recorded two assists and Garrett Busch delivered one assist. Wesleyan improved to 7-2-1.
Providence 7, Pinecrest 1
CUMMING -- Providence starter Patrick Smith allowed just one earned run in 5 innings of work on Tuesday in the Stars' 7-1 win over Pinecrest Academy. Smith (2-0) allowed the one run on four hits with one strikeout.
Austin Smith led the offense for Providence (9-6, 4-2), going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Tyler Brown added two hits and a run, while Josh Carter finished 2-for-4 with two runs.
Wesleyan 12, King's Ridge 1
ROSWELL -- Wesleyan starter Jamie Stark went six innings on Tuesday, giving up no earned runs and five hits with six strikeouts in helping the Wolves top King's Ridge 12-1.
Will Anderson paced the offense, going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, while Mason Colquitt went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Eric Rappe added a hit and two RBIs for Wesleyan (4-6, 2-2).
Hebron 11, Social Circle 1
DACULA -- Tyler Hutch went 2-for-2 with a double, triple and four RBIs on Tuesday night to lead Hebron 11-1 over Social Circle in five innings for a Region 8-A win.
Drew Coker also went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Sid Turner added two hits, two runs and an RBI. Jordan Hillyer also helped on offense, going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Mason Felt (5-0) went four innings for the win, giving up one earned run on one hit with nine strikeouts. Hillyer added one inning of scoreless relief with one strikeout.
Hebron improved to 11-1 overall and 8-0 in the region.
Covenant 6, Piedmont 4
LOGANVILLE -- Jordan Argo had two doubles and three RBIs on Tuesday to help lift Covenant Christian Acadmey 6-4 over Piedmont Christian.
Jeremy Schafer added two doubles and two RBIs, while Austin Hayes finished 3-for-3 with two doubles.
Winning pitcher was Ryan Nichols, who went 5 innings with four earned runs on 11 hits with six strikeouts. Covenant improved to 11-1.
DACULA -- Brookwood split up its squad for matches in two locations on Tuesday and came home with two wins, sweeping both Dacula and South Gwinnett 5-0.
In the 5-0 win at Dacula, the Broncos scored singles wins from Mark Guentert, Drew Wendel and Jody Chan, while getting doubles wins from Will McWhirt and Christian Gochnauer at No. 1 and Michael Fadeley and Matt Bullock at No. 2.
The rest of the squad went to South Gwinnett and topped the Comets 5-0. Will George, David Brown and Ryan Pridgeon each posted singles wins, with Matt Jones and Amarin Montroy at No. 1 doubles and Joe MacKenzie and Thomas Cox winning at No. 2 doubles. Brookwood improved to 17-0 overall and 8-0 in Region 8-AAAAA.
Grayson 3, Shiloh 2
SNELLVILLE -- Grayson notched one singles win and two doubles wins on Tuesday to come away with a 3-2 win over Shiloh in Region 8-AAAAA.
Matt Bolt paired with Parker Evans for a No. 1 doubles win, while Austin Collier and Zachary Cavaness won at No. 2 doubles. Brady Narey added a No. 3 singles win for Grayson (10-3, 6-1).
Mill Creek 3, Peachtree Ridge 2
SUWANEE -- Mill Creek edged Peachtree Ridge 3-2 on Tuesday, improving the Hawks to 13-4 overall and 5-1 in Region 7-AAAAA.
Mill Creek won all three singles matches, posting wins by Quentin Lavender, Adam Gonterman and Tyler Abbott.
Collins Hill 4, North 1
SUWANEE -- Collins Hill beat cross-town rival North Gwinnett 4-1 on Tuesday in Region 7-AAAAA.
The Eagles (13-2, 6-0) scored two points in singles action with wins by Chris Clark at No. 1 and Tyler Kallgren at No. 2. Their other two points were from doubles wins by Jake Inderrieden and Marcus Maloney at No. 1 and Alec Rahmanian and Peyton Rushing at No. 2.
Buford 4, Morgan Co. 1
BUFORD -- Buford improved to 12-2 on Tuesday with a 4-1 win over Morgan County.
Colby West took the No. 1 singles match for Buford, while Ron Hunter added a No. 3 singles win. The Wolves also took both doubles matches, getting wins from Syler Wilson and Josh Thompson at No. 1 and Jabin Stepp and Nicholas Becker at No. 2.
North 5, Collins Hill 0
SUWANEE -- North Gwinnett scored a Region 7-AAAAA win on Tuesday by beating Collins Hill 5-0.
Haley Wix and Emma Efelalahfi won at No. 1 doubles for North, while Lizzy Bradley and Arianna Lallan won at No. 2. North (10-5, 3-2) also won all three singles matches, getting victories from Shannon Bettiol, Hannah Serdinia and Esabell Balsavage.
Mountain View 3, Duluth 2
DULUTH -- Courtney Conley, Brittney Link and Victoria Mock of Mountain View all won in singles play on Tuesday as the Bears clipped Duluth 3-2 in Region 7-AAAAA.
Mountain View upped its record to 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the region.
Duluth (3-9) took both doubles matches, getting wins from Joan Lee and Caroline Sweney at No. 1 and Gabby Garcia and Aashna Punwani won at No. 2.
Peachtree Ridge 4, Mill Creek 1
SUWANEE -- Peachtree Ridge picked up singles wins from Jessica Northcutt, Abby Owens and Jena Kelly on Tuesday as the Lions (9-1, 6-0) defeated Mill Creek 4-1 in Region 7-AAAAA.
Sisters Ali and Erin Mills added a No. 1 doubles win for Peachtree Ridge's fourth point.
Brookwood 5, South 0
SNELLVILLE -- Brookwood topped South Gwinnett 5-0 on Tuesday night in Region 8-AAAAA.
Scoring singles wins for Brookwood (12-4, 7-0) were Gabby Griffith, Maddy Stanitzke and Allie Garnder, while doubles winners were Alex Adams and Emily Means at No. 1 and Rachel Amatriain and Hannah Howell at No. 2.
Lanier 4, West Hall 1
GAINESVILLE -- Lanier's Lauren Byrd, Meg McRee and Carlye Overley all won in singles play on Tuesday in helping the Longhorns to a 4-1 win over West Hall.
Adding the fourth point for Lanier (10-4, 7-4) was a No. 1 doubles win by the pair of Victoria Inman and Jenna Soucia.
Buford 5, Morgan Co. 0
BUFORD -- Buford's Kelley Cohron, Anna Lee Stevens and Kristin Bradshaw all won in singles play on Tuesday in helping the Wolves sweep Morgan County 5-0.
Adding to the shutout was Savannah Whaley and Gabby Puckett at No. 1 doubles and Jessica Thompson and Rebecca Hendrix at No. 2 doubles.
Norcross cruises past Collins Hill
DULUTH -- Norcross had two players break 40 on Tuesday as the Blue Devils defeated Collins Hill 158 to 178.
Zach Healy led Norcross with 37, while teammate Jason Mendel followed with 38.
Collins Hill received a pair of 43s from Patrick Hilton and Jack McGinnis.
Shiloh knocks off Central
SNELLVILLE -- Matthew Cyran of Shiloh took low-medalist honors with a 39 on Tuesday to lead the Generals 181 to 202 over Central Gwinnett at the Country Club of Gwinnett.
Tommy Blackwell of Shiloh followed with a 41, including a double eagle on the second hole. Rounding out the top four for Shiloh were Rodney Dennis with 50 and Ricky Miller with 51.
Central was led by a 46 from Michael Maloney.
Woodward tops Wesleyan
ALPHARETTA -- Woodward Academy defeated Wesleyan 141 to 164 on Tuesday afternoon at River Pines.
Cody Solomon led Wesleyan with 39.
Lim and Kim lead Duluth
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Diane Lim of Duluth shot a 38, while teammate Sally Kim added a 41 on Tuesday afternoon at Northwood Country Club as the Wildcats beat Mountain View 79 to 103.
Peachtree Ridge edges North
DULUTH -- Jenny Li of Peachtree Ridge led all scorers with 41 on Tuesday to lead the Lions 89 to 91 past North Gwinnett at Sugarloaf.
Sydney Hickman added a 48 for the Lions, while North was led by Rachel Gill's 44.
Collins Hill wins
DULUTH -- Collins Hill slipped past Norcross on Tuesday afternoon with a 102 to 103 win at Berkeley Hills.
Ellen Min and Merritt Williams each shot 51 for Collins Hill. Camille Streeter of Norcross posted a new personal record with a 48 for the day's low round.
Shiloh's Hoyle remains unbeaten
SNELLVILLE -- Cierra Hoyle of Shiloh kept her unbeaten streak alive on Tuesday by leading all scorers with a 45 as the Generals posted a 103 to 112 team win over Central Gwinnett at the Country Club of Gwinnett.
Jasmaura Minniefield added a 58 for Shiloh, while Central was led by a 55 from Sara Futch.
Collins Hill 10, Grayson 3
SUWANEE -- Holin Axley of Collins Hill accounted for six points on Tuesday with three goals and three assists as the Eagles beat Grayson 10-3.
Tyler Agee and Ryan Floress added three goals each for Collins Hill (7-5), while Tim Singer scored one.
Duluth 17, Campbell 3
SMYRNA -- Ben Loyal put in six goals on Tuesday night to lead Duluth to a 17-3 rout over Campbell.
Others helping in the win for Duluth (7-4) were Charlie Hall with three goals and two assists, Ryan Middleton with two goals, Zack Consie with one goal and two assists, Brendan Eckard with one goal and three assists, Wes Ramon with one goal and two assists and Ben James with two goals.
GAC 21, Fellowship 7
ROSWELL -- Whit Anderson put in five goals on Tuesday night as part of Greater Atlanta Christian's 21-7 romp over Fellowship Christian.
Eric Reynolds and Gunner Cape each added four goals and as assist, while Peter Whiteneck finished with three goals and an assist. Adding to the scoring for GAC (6-2) were Sam Harte with two goals and an assist and Judson Adair and Conor Finneran each with a goal.
Steward Butler made six saves and keeper, while Courtland Jones won 20 faceoffs.
Collins Hill 16, Grayson 14
SUWANEE -- Michelle Vasquez scored six goals Tuesday night to help Collins Hill get past Grayson 16-14 as the Eagles handed the Rams their first loss of the year.
Kara Knapik added three goals for the Eagles (5-6, 4-1), while Anna Britt finished with three goals and an assist. Laura Lawrence chipped in with two goals and three assists, while keeper Stephanie Lam recorded nine saves.
Parkview 16, Archer 8
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Victoria Petrassi of Parkview scored seven goals on Tuesday night to lead the Panthers 16-8 over Archer.
Sarah Curlee added three goals for Parkview (4-9), while Sydney Sparks scored two. Parkview also received one goal each from Riley Fields, Mariah Smith, Truemy Dao and Kelly Spevacek, while keeper Lisa McManus stopped 13 shots.
