ATLANTA (AP) -- The world's busiest airport is holding a casting call of sorts.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is seeking volunteers who can play the role of travelers. The goal is to test how a new international terminal will perform when it opens for real passengers.
Airport officials say they need about 1,500 volunteers for the simulated exercise on May 2. It will simulate a day of operation at the new 1.2 million-square-foot terminal. The new terminal is scheduled to open May 16.
Interim Deputy General Manager Balram Bheodari says the goal is to test the terminal's operational readiness, and identity any potential problems before the opening date.
People who wish to volunteer for the simulation may fill out a survey at the airport's website at http://bit.ly/GD986u .

why not ask for suckers to give their own time so that the big shots can keep their big salaries. What a joke.

Wait till the "volunteers" find out they have to pay for their own parking.

I'll volunteer to be patted down in the security line if Jessica Alba volunteers to portray the TSA agent.

Sell it, Build it, Ship it, Test it ~ in that order. That's how we run a successful business in America, isn't it? LOL, you just can't make this stuff up! It's one thing to do it in that order, and quite another to advertise it all over the planet.
