SNELLVILLE -- After a three-run rally in the seventh inning, Michael Gouge's RBI single in the eighth inning gave Brookwood a 5-4 win over Shiloh in Region 8-AAAAA baseball Wednesday.
Zach Moon had a pinch-hit, RBI triple to drive in the tying run in the seventh. Cedric Mullins was 3-for-4 and also threw out two runners from the outfield. Lucas Sims, Gouge and Clint Carr each had two hits. Blake Schuck (1-0) struck out the side in the eighth to get the win. Sims pitched six innings. He allowed one earned run and five hits, while striking out 10.
Central 13, Berkmar 1
LILBURN -- Luis Valdez pitched a complete game and knocked in two runs to lead Central Gwinnett to a 13-1 win over Berkmar in five innings Wednesday. Valdez (2-3) allowed two hits and struck out four. He was also 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored for the Black Knights (4-7, 2-1). Paulo De Los Santos, Eli Vale and Darwin Mendez each went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
South 10, Archer 0
SNELLVILLE -- Jordan Ramey pitched a one-hit shutout as South Gwinnett beat Archer 10-0 in five innings Wednesday. Ramey (1-2) struck out two hitters in the win. Colton Nash was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Comets (5-7, 1-2). Mason Hart, Montrell Marshall and Jo Jo Borrego each had two hits and an RBI.
GAC 12, Meadowcreek 0
NORCROSS -- Tim Desmond pitched a one-hit shutout as Greater Atlanta Christian defeated Meadowcreek 12-0 Wednesday. Desmond (3-0) struck out five batters in the win. Daino Deas hit a two-run homer for the Spartans (9-3). Ross Wood, Jordan Dudek, Austin Miller and Rafe Chapple each had two hits.
Mountain View 3, Norcross 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Joey Bell pitched a three-hitter as Mountain View shut out Norcross 3-0 Wednesday. Bell (3-0) struck out two batters in the win. Ben Utley had two RBIs to lead the Bears (9-2, 3-2). Peyton Fore added two hits and a run. Garry Gwaltney ripped a triple and scored.
Tanner Maloof, Chris Raasch, Jascanel Ferreras and Griffin Helms each had a hit for the Blue Devils (4-5, 1-2). Losing pitcher Jackson Williams (1-2) pitched six innings and struck out one.
Peachtree Ridge 7, Collins Hill 4
SUWANEE -- Tyler Haswell was 3-for-3 and picked up the win in relief as Peachtree Ridge beat Collins Hill 7-4 Wednesday. Haswell hit a couple of doubles and struck out three in two innings of relief. Donald Frew struck out six in five innings, but had a no-decision. Billy Best was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Tyler Chaney added two hits.
Grayson 10, Dacula 7
DACULA -- Grayson pounded out 14 hits in a 10-7 win over Dacula Wednesday. Juan Flores hit a three-run homer to lead the Rams (8-2, 2-0). Taylor Allum (2-1) was the winning pitcher. He allowed six runs in the first inning, but settled in and pitched three shutout innings after that. K.C. Collins pitched the last three innings to get his first save.
Austin Collins drove in two runs for the Falcons (1-12, 0-2). Brandyn Bartlett and Josh Bullock also had an RBI.
Parkview beats Dacula
SNELLVILLE -- Leah Chandley shot 2-over par as Parkview beat 79-86 Wednesday at Summit Chase Country Club. Chandley fired a 38 for the Panthers (4-0). Kiersten Nowell shot a 40 for the Falcons.
Mill Creek holds off North
SUWANEE -- Mill Creek edged out North Gwinnett 80-82 Wednesday at Bear's Best. Ari Russell shot an even-par round of 36 for the Hawks, while Alex Hudson shot par for the Bulldogs.
Long, DeSilva lead Parkview to win
SNELLVILLE -- Drew Long and Aaron DeSilva each shot 2-over par as Parkview knocked off Dacula 156-166 Wednesday at Summit Chase Country Club. Long and DeSilva each shot a 38 for the Panthers (2-3). Cole Gower and Harold Lei led the Falcons with rounds of 40.
Pence, Martin shoot under par in Hawks win
SUWANEE -- Dylan Pence and Taylor Martin each broke par in Mill Creek's 144-152 win over North Gwinnett Wednesday at Bear's Best. Pence fired a 2-under round of 34 to lead the Hawks. Martin shot a 1-under 35. Sam DiPaola shot a school-record 33 to lead the Bulldogs.
Buford 4, Cross Keys 0
BUFORD -- Buford swept Cross Keys 4-0 Wednesday. Annie Counts and Abby Hundley won the No. 1 doubles match, while Gabby Tuckett and Abbey Mitchell won the No. 2 match. Kelley Cohron and Annalea Stevens won the top two singles matches for the Wolves (9-4).
Providence 4, Holy Innocents' 1
ATLANTA -- Providence swept the singles matches in a 4-1 win over Holy Innocents' Wednesday. Vani Crist, Alex Schlesener and Robin Ferris earned wins for the Stars (10-3). Carly Dubay and Alex Mele won the No. 1 doubles match.

SNELLVILLE -- Archer shut out Shiloh 5-0 Wednesday. Sydnie Madison, Kimberly Anderson and Harper Emery swept the singles for the Tigers. In doubles, Lauren Dalton and Kaitlyn Balsamides were winners, along with the pair of Madison Wyngaert and Sydney Sorensen.

ALPHARETTA -- Peachtree Ridge handled Alpharetta 5-0 Wednesday. In singles, Jessica Northcutt, Abby Owens and Jena Kelly won their matches. Ali and Erin Mills took care of the No. 1 doubles match for the Lions (7-1). The No. 2 pair of Rachel Anderson and Mary Frances Greenwood also won.

DACULA -- Mountain View improved its record to .500 with a 4-1 win over Dacula Wednesday. In singles, Brittney Link (No. 2) and Victoria Mock (No. 3) won their matches. Megan Mullins and Bri Norris took care of the No. 1 doubles match for the Bears, while Allison Pham and Verena Gogl won the No. 2 match.

GAINESVILLE -- Lanier took down North Hall 4-1 Wednesday. Winning singles matches for the Longhorns (9-3) were Lauren Byrd, Meg McRee and Victoria Inman. Carlie Overley and Lindsey Wong won the No. 1 doubles match.

ATLANTA -- Brookwood swept Marist 5-0 Wednesday to remain unbeaten. Mark Guentert, Will George and Drew Wendel won the singles matches for the Broncos (13-0). David Brown and Matt Jones won the No. 1 doubles match, as did the No. 2 pair of Christian Gochnauer and Will McWhirt.

WINDER -- Winder-Barrow knocked off Apalachee 4-1 Wednesday. Matt Garrett and Dima Sorokopud won the No. 2 doubles match for the Wildcats (4-5, 2-4). The Bulldoggs record improves to 8-3 and 4-2 in the region.

ATLANTA -- Providence fell to Holy Innocents' 4-1 Wednesday. Clayton Cheek and Taylor McGloughlin won the No. 1 doubles match for the Stars (5-7).

GAINESVILLE -- Lanier swept the singles matches in a 3-2 win over North Hall Wednesday. Hendhi Agenor, Kevin Wagner and Kyle Galloway were winners for the Longhorns (8-4).
Collins Hill 3, Peachtree Ridge 2
DULUTH -- Tyler Kallgren earned a historic singles win late Tuesday night as the Collins Hill boys defeated Peachtree Ridge 3-2 in a Region 7-AAAAA match.
Kallgren won his 49th career match, which broke the Eagles' school record for victories. Collins Hill (11-2, 4-0) also got a singles win from Chris Clark at No. 1 and a doubles point from the No. 1 team of Jake Inderrieden and Marcus Maloney.
Peachtree Ridge 8, Mill Creek 6
HOSCHTON -- Peachtree Ridge handed Mill Creek its first loss of the season, beating the Hawks 8-6 Wednesday. Izzy Ivory made 18 saves to lead the Lions (9-1, 4-0). Dabry Frisbie scored three goals, while Michelle Fortier added two goals. Chandler Griffin made 10 saves for the Hawks (8-1). Tyler Rediger, Mackenzie Fagioli, Abigail Fitler, Tori Windom, Emily Hallberg and Rachel Gann each scored once.
Norcross 12, Mountain View 5
NORCROSS -- Norcross picked up its first win of the season with a 12-5 victory over Mountain View on Wednesday. Rachel Holmes and Maddie Godleski each scored five goals to lead the Blue Devils (1-8). Claudia Rivers and Marie Cruzado each had one goal.
Duluth 14, Riverside Military 4
GAINESVILLE -- Ben Loyal scored five goals to lead Duluth to a 14-4 win over Riverside Military Academy on Wednesday. Brendan Eckard added two goals and three assists for the Lions (6-2). Zack Consie also had two goals to go with two assists. Charlie Hall scored one and dished out three assists, while Ryan Middleton put one goal in to go with two assists. Goalie Sky Taylor made 21 saves.
Brookwood 6, Central 0
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Brookwood shut out Central Gwinnett 6-0 on Wednesday. Lucy DeWitt, Francessca Ellis, Erica Brown, Kim Fincher, Fanon Williams and Cassidy Barker each scored once for the Broncos (5-5) Fiorella Gamarra had two assists, while Ellis and Meredith Towey had one.
