SUGAR HILL -- The city of Sugar Hill will pack three separate events into its Earth Day celebration, held next month at E.E. Robinson Park.
Held April 21 from noon to 5 p.m., the celebration will include the city's third annual "Touch A Truck" event, where kids can climb in and explore vehicles including garbage trucks, construction machines, police cruisers and fire engines.
The Touch A Truck event will be open from noon to 3 p.m. and is open to kids of all ages.
The Earth Day celebration will also include the "Trash to Treasure" community yard sale, a fundraiser for White Oak Elementary School and its outdoor classroom and garden.
Performance groups from Lanier cluster schools will showcase their talents throughout the day on the park's amphitheater stage as well.
