DULUTH -- The city of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department and the historical society want to know who's got the city's top dog.
Duluth's Top Dog will serve as mayor of the Chattapoochee Dog Park at Rogers Bridge Park on April 28, an honor bestowed upon the canine and owner which meet the following criteria:
• Dog owner must be a city resident or a city business owner.
• Picture of dog candidate must be submitted with official entry form.
• All entries must be submitted by midnight on April 13.
The canine winner will serve a one-year term in office, and will also act as grand marshal for the annual October Chattapoochee Pet Festival.
Official entry forms can be obtained from the city parks and recreation website, Bunten Road Park Activity Building, Duluth Historical Society or city hall.
