Boys Player of the Year: Chris Bolden, Sr., North Gwinnett
The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 19.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game in helping the Bulldogs win the regular season Region 7-AAAAA championship and advance to the Class AAAAA state quarterfinals. The Georgia Tech signee averaged 22.8 points in his final nine games, including two 30-point efforts and three more games of 27 points or more
Boys Coach of the Year: Greg Phillips, Berkmar
In his third season as head coach, Phillips led the Patriots to their second straight Region 8-AAAAA tournament title and a spot in the Class AAAAA state quarterfinals with a 23-8 record and a No. 8 state ranking

Girls Coach of the Year: Jan Azar, Wesleyan
Azar guided the Wolves to their fifth straight state championship, making them just the third girls basketball program in GHSA history to accomplish the feat, and the ninth in the last 11 seasons
