Grimes -- Ramsey
Damon and Maryanne Grimes of Hoschton announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Leigh Grimes of Hoschton, to Matthew Lyle Ramsey of Franklin, N.C., son of Joseph and Theresa Ramsey of Franklin.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anne Branigan of Rockville Centre, N.Y., the late Kenneth Branigan, Calvin Grimes of Bowling Green, Ky., and the late Ruby Grimes. She is a 2007 graduate of Mill Creek High School, a 2010 graduate of Georgia Tech and is pursuing a degree in elementary education from Georgia State University.
The future groom is the grandson of Albert and Margaret Ramsey of Franklin, Dean Farmer of Slater, S.C., and the late Bill Farmer. He is a 2007 graduate of Franklin High School and is pursuing a degree in computational media from Georgia Tech. He is employed with Cox Communications.
The wedding is planned for May 6 at the Inman Park Trolley Barn in Atlanta.
