LOGANVILLE -- Ryan Askew tossed a complete-game two-hit shutout as Collins Hill blanked Loganville 1-0. In a game that took just one hour, 50 minutes to play, Askew also struck out five and allowed just one walk in the win. John Topoleski's sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to drive in Wayne Wages stood up as Askew sent the Eagles (2-2-1) home a winner.
South 5, Buford 3
BUFORD -- Jake Mullinax allowed just two earned runs in six innings and Ryan Patterson came on for the save in the seventh as South Gwinnett knocked off Buford 5-3. Mullinax (2-1) allowed six hits while striking out five in the win. Patterson also went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI for the Comets (4-3).
Peachtree Ridge 6, Centennial 0
SUWANEE -- Donald Frew tossed six innings of two-hit baseball while striking out eight as Peachtree Ridge blanked Centennial 6-0. Bryson Sellers came on to pitch the seventh to close it out for the Lions (3-3). Robert Sanchez led Peachtree Ridge at the plate by going 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI, while Brian Hanberry was 2-for-4 with a homer, double and two RBIs. Tyler Haswell, Billy Best and Steven Tomlinson each had two hits, including a double for the Lions.
Parkview 10, Lassiter 4
LILBURN -- Jesse Foster and Austin Fisher combined to hold Lassiter to four runs on eight hits as Parkview defeated the Trojans 10-4. Foster (1-0) went 5 innings and allowed three earned runs on five hits, while striking out six and walking one. Fisher came on for 1 innings of relief and allowed just one run on three hits while striking out one. Jack Esmonde went 3-for-3 for Parkview with a homer, two singles and three RBIs. Josh Hart was 1-for-4 with a two-run double, while Edwin Arias went 1-for-2 with a couple of RBI. Matt Olson added a 2-for-3 night with a homer and two RBI, while Ryan Blanton was 2-for-3 with a RBI. Rob Youngblood added a 1-for-2 night at the plate with two runs scored for the Panthers (3-1).
Winder-Barrow 6, Dacula 4
DACULA -- Despite a 2-for-4 night from Michael Barnes and a three-run double from Brandyn Bartlett, Dacula fell to Winder-Barrow 6-4. Morgan Loyd (0-2) took the loss for the Falcon (1-6).
Providence 17, Grayson 2
LOGANVILLE -- Austin Smith went 2-for-3 with a homer, three RBIs and three runs scored as Providence pounded Grayson 17-2 in five innings. Austin Loyd went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored, while Christin Stewart was also 2-for-3 with a homer, three runs scored and two RBIs for the Stars (2-4). Tyler Brown also added a 3-for-4 night at the plate with a run scored, RBI and stolen base. Luke Henderson got the win for Providence by going five innings and allowing two runs on five hits, while striking out seven and walking one.
Gainesville 13, Lanier 2
GAINESVILLE -- Despite a two-run homer from Kevin Clark, Lanier fell to Gainesville 13-2 in Region 8-AAA action. Austin Wood, T.J. Richardson and Asutin Gaskins each had a hit for the Longhorns (1-3, 0-1).

SNELLVILLE -- Jeb Britt carded a 38 as Grayson edged Parkview 163-165 at Summit Chase Country Club. Carlos Adkitsson led Parkview (0-1) with a 38.
Collins Hill 167, North 169
LAWERENCEVILLE -- Alex Simpson had a 40 and Patrick Hilton followed with a 41 as Collins Hill (3-0) nipped North Gwinnett 167-169 at Collins Hill Golf Course. Blake Watkins led the way for North with a 40.

SNELLVILLE -- Leah Chandley's 44 led the way as Parkview (1-0) defeated Grayson 96-104 at Summit Chase Country Club. Julie Spangler had a 44 for Grayson.

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Diane Lin had a 37 and Casey Nellums added a 42 as Duluth got past Peachtree Ridge 79-91 at Northwood Country Club. Jenny Li had a 44 and Annie Jin a 47 for Peachtree Ridge.

LAWRENCEVILLE -- A pair of 52s from Rachel Gill and Callie Cronin led North Gwinnett to a 104-108 win over Collins Hill at the Collins Hill Golf Course. Ellen Min led Collins Hill (0-3) with a 50.
Mill Creek 3, North Oconee 2
HOSCHTON -- Mill Creek took both doubles matches and also got a win at No. 2 singles from Adam Gonterman as the Hawks defeated North Oconee 3-2. Mill Creek (8-2) got the wins in doubles at No. 1 from Brad Adkins and Travis Hanes and at No. 2 doubles from J.J. Needham and Jake Foley.

SNELLVILLE -- Brookwood remained undefeated as the Broncos swept the singles and doubles in a 5-0 win over Parkview in Region 8-AAAAA action. Brookwood (8-0, 3-0) got wins from Mark Guentert at No. 1 singles, Drew Wendel at No. 2 singles and Ryan Pridgeon at No. 3 singles, while Matt Jones and David Brown won at No. 1 doubles and Will McWhirt and Amarin Montroy won at No. 2 doubles.

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Collins Hill captured all three singles and both doubles matches in a 5-0 win over Northview at Collins Hill Athletic Club. Chris Clark won at No. 1 singles, Tyler Callgren at No. 2 singles and Ian Melnik at No. 3 singles. SUWANEE -- North picked up its first Region 7-AAAAA win with a 5-0 blanking of Norcross. Taylor Buchholz at No. 1, Mark Hardy at No. 2 and R.J. Clement at No. 3 all won in singles, while Ryan Duncan and Forrest Huffman were victorious at No. 1 doubles and Josh Winey and Avery Balsavage won at No. 2 doubles for North (7-1, 1-0).

HOSCHTON -- Mill Creek improved to 10-1 overall with a 5-0 blanking of North Oconee. Madison Hahn at No. 1, Allison Weaver at No. 2 and Lauren Atkinson at No. 3 each picked up singles wins, while Cailey Stevens and Mallory Kolts won at No. 1 doubles and Natalie Martinez and Abbi Jordan won at No. 2 doubles for the Hawks.
Dacula 3, Winder-Barrow 2
WINDER -- Dacula swept all three singles as the Falcons defeated Winder-Barrow 3-2. Nicki Neal at No. 1, Alissa Leugers at No. 2 and Daniella Ramirez at No. 3 got the wins as Dacula (1-6) got its first win of the season.

LILBURN -- Brookwood took all three singles and both doubles in a 5-0 win over Parkview in Region 8-AAAAA. Gabby Griffith won at No. 1 singles, Liz Slaughter at No. 2 singles and Sheridan Schuster at No. 3 singles for the Broncos (5-3, 3-0), while Rebecca Norton and Katie Kraft won at No. 1 doubles and Natalie Nabors and Maddie Stanitzke won at No. 2 doubles.
Northview 3, Collins Hill 2
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Collins Hill dropped a tight 3-2 decision to Northview. Wins came at No. 3 singles from Lexi Owensby and No. 1 doubles from Cassie Owensby and Maddie Owensby for the Eagles (3-6).
Grayson 13, Duluth 1
LOGANVILLE -- Ben Mertz and Zach Dirkse each had four goals and an assist as Grayson rolled past Duluth 13-1. Garrett Gorski added three goals and an assist, while Thatcher Smith had a goal and two assists and Nathan Yetter had a goal and an assist for the Rams (3-1). Josh Parris had six saves in goal for Grayson.
Wesleyan 18, Mount Paran 13
NORCROSS -- Fendall Laughlin had five goals and an assist and Miles Laughlin added four goals and two assists as Wesleyan got by Mount Paran 18-13. Austin Gritters also came up with three goals and two assists as the Wolves (2-2) put seven players in the scoring column.
Brookwood 19, Mountain View 5
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Paige Miller had five goals and three assists to lead Brookwood to a 19-5 win over Mountain View. Courtney Ross added four goals, while Lindsey Thomson and Erin Wynn each had three goals for the Broncos (5-1). Brittany Marquis chipped in five assists and Lauren Clay added a pair of assists for the Broncos. Brookwood also got solid goal-keeping from Brooke Wagner (six saves) and Ross (five saves). Mountain View (0-2) was led by Kirsten Whitt's two goals.
Collins Hill 20, Norcross 5
SUWANEE -- Carly Marksberry had five goals and two assists as Collins Hill defeated Norcross 20-5 in Area 4-AAAAA action. Mackenzie Russell added three goals and an assist, while Laura Lawrence, Kara Knapik, Michelle Vasques and Anna Britt each had two goals for the Eagles (3-2, 2-0). Goalkeeper Stephanie Lam had eight saves on 10 shots for Collins Hill.
Kell 19, North 7
MARIETTA -- Lauren Aycock had five goals, but North Gwinnett dropped a 19-7 decision to Kell. Sylvia Chou and Erica Smith also had a goal each for North (3-3).
Mill Creek 2, Milton 1
HOSCHTON -- Brandon O'Toole and Tony Baza each scored a goal as Mill Creek edged Milton 2-1. Steven Arroyave had six saves in goal for Mill Creek (5-0) and Tajay Hoppines added an assist in the win.
Wesleyan 3, Mount Pisgah 0
ALPHARETTA -- In a game that began on Friday and was suspended due to storms in the area, Wesleyan returned on Wednesday to complete a 3-0 win over Mount Pisgah in Area 5-A. Wesleyan was leading 1-0 when the inclement weather began to roll in Friday and the Wolves came back on Wednesday to finish off the victory. Jay Baker had the goal with an assist from Cort Coxhead on Friday, then Eric Sunderman and Cole Warren picked up the final two goals as Wesleyan improved to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 in 5-A. Coxhead also had another assist on Wednesday.
