Many of the plants which have already started to bloom may be in danger as a freeze warning goes into effect tonight.
ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say a freeze warning will soon be in effect in Gwinnett as temperatures are expected to plunge into the mid-20s for much of Georgia, threatening many of the plants which have already started to bloom.
The National Weather Service says the freeze warning will be in effect from 9 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday.
It covers a large part of the state, and includes all of metro Atlanta.
