James Williams
James R. “Bobby” Williams, age 65 of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday February 29, 2012. Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM Sunday March 4, 2012 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Bobby was born in Lawrenceville, GA. of parents James & Ila Williams and a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School Class of 1964. Through his life time he developed many commercial properties in the Lawrenceville & Dacula communities. Bobby spent many years helping to build the youth baseball programs in Lawrenceville & Dacula Parks and was a part of starting the new High School baseball program at Archer High School. Bobby was a long time member of the Gwinnett Room in Lawrenceville and in May of this year would have celebrated 25 years as a friend of Bill W. He is survived by Wife: Sherry Williams, Bethlehem; Children: Marcey Lee Williams, Bethlehem; Jay Williams & his wife Peggy Williams, Ft. Myers, FL; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Margaret Cagle, Lawrenceville; Shirley & Wendall Thompson, Lilburn; Grandchildren: Jordan Fountain; Josh Simonton; Devon Williams; Sierra Williams; James Charles Williams; Myah Rose Williams; Several Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins. In lieu of flowers the family has established a donation account at Brand Banking Company in care of Sherry or Marcey Williams for his grandchildren’s continuing sports activities. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 4 PM Sunday March 4, 2012 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Rd. SW, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046. 770 962-3100.
