SUGAR HILL -- The city of Sugar Hill hosts its Independence Day celebration a day early, providing residents with fireworks, live music and an outdoor movie on July 3.
The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at E.E. Robinson Park. Musician Lakyn Brinkman will open that stage for featured act 7 Bridges, scheduled to play from 7:20 to 9:40 p.m.
Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:50 p.m. Those will be followed by an outdoor screening of the family movie "Kung Fu Panda 2."
Attendance is free, and visitors are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, coolers and snacks. No alcohol will be permitted. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
E.E. Robinson Park is located at 850 Level Creek Road. A shuttle service will also be provided by Sugar Hill United Methodist Church (4600 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard) beginning at 6:15 p.m.
