SNELLVILLE -- Verizon Wireless has relocated its Snellville retail store to a new, expanded, state-of-the-art building at 1937 Scenic Hwy.
Featuring the company's new open floor plan design, the new location connects the service center and sales floor to offer added support for its customers.
The new store is open for business and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Representatives from the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce will be there to share in the celebration.
To celebrate the event, Verizon Wireless will present a $1,000 HopeLine grant to Partnership Against Domestic Violence at the ribbon cutting ceremony. For 35 years, PADV, the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia, has provided support to battered women and their children in metro Atlanta.
The Snellville Verizon Wireless store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Staff at the store can be reached at 770 979-0166.
OLI announces expansion
DULUTH -- Local officials and business executives plan to join OLI, a subsidiary of WAMGROUP, to celebrate the announcement of its new and expanded assembly operations in Gwinnett County with a grand opening celebration at 3 p.m. Thursday at 4070 Buford Highway, Suite 5, Duluth.
The expansion represents OLI's efforts to better reach and grow its customer base and market share in North America.
Established in 1961 as a vibration technology company, the business develops various models of high frequency electric as well as pneumatic and shaft vibrators.
