SUWANEE -- The monthly street festival at Town Center Park will feature a "Flower Power" theme Thursday night, and The Upside band will perform.

Hairlluncinations, a hair salon in Town Center, will host the event, which occurs on the fourth Thursday of each month through October. The festival is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. where wine and beer are available from businesses, and event goers are free to walk through Town Center with beverages.

The Upside band, which was formed in 2008, also played at a Toast at Town Center event last year.

"They rocked it last year, so I'm anticipating the evening to be filled with good tunes and lots of fun," said Audrey Wood, a co-owner of Hairlluncinations.

The event will have a "Hair of Fortune" prize wheel where folks can spin for prizes from merchants around Town Center. Pet trainers from Pawsitively Reinforcement will also be on hand, Wood said, to offer tips, demonstrations and to answer questions about pet training.
