Joyce Fellows
Joyce Fellows, 62, of Pendergrass, Georgia, passed away at 10:00am Thursday (June 21, 2012) at her home. She was born Joyce Ann Nurrenbern on December 21, 1949 in Mount Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of the late Elmer Nurrenbern and Carolyn (Riner) Nurrenbern, who survives. On May 29, 1971, she married Garvin A. Fellows II in Evansville, Indiana. She is survived by her husband Garvin, three children, Derek (Peggi) Fellows, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Aaron (Amber) Fellows, of Ellettsville, Indiana, and Tonya (Mark) Wassel, of Concord, North Carolina, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Linda (John) Gray, Janet (Patrick) Dunigan, and a brother, Glenn (Bea) Nurrenbern, all of Indiana. Joyce graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1967. She attended Indiana State University, and was then employed by George Koch and Sons in Evansville. She moved to Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 1994 and worked at Medaphis for 6 years and Gwinnett Medical Center for 12 years before retiring in February 2012. She was a member of St. Catherine LaBouré Catholic Church in Jefferson, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joyce’s name to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Their website is http://www.jimmyv.org/.
