BUFORD — Authorities are expected to resume searching for a 13-year-old boy missing since the boating accident that killed his 9-year-old brother a week ago on Lake Lanier.
Authorities called off the search for Griffin Prince on Friday afternoon because of high boat traffic on the lake just north of Atlanta. Crews are expected to begin searching again Monday at 7 a.m.
The teen has been missing since June 18 when the pontoon boat he was aboard with his family was rammed by a fishing boat. His brother, Jake Prince, died at the scene of the accident.
Authorities have charged 44-year-old Paul J. Bennett of Cumming in the deadly wreck. He faces a charge of boating under the influence.
