LAWRENCEVILLE -- A Lawrenceville man has claimed $1 million from a lottery ticket bought at a local grocery store.
Stephen Price claimed his prize Friday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth, lottery officials said. Price won $1 million on a Georgia Millions instant ticket purchased at the Publix supermarket at 2380 Buford Drive.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $13.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
