Michael and Melissa Smith of Suwanee and Mary Smith of Sugar Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Maureen Smith of Lilburn, to Jeffrey Doyle Flowers of Lilburn, son of Conrad Flowers of Avondale Estates and the late Patricia Flowers.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Paul and Mary Widel of Maquoketa, Iowa, and Dean and Syble Smith of Decatur. She is a 2003 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and a 2010 graduate of Kennesaw State University and is employed with Gwinnett Relay For Life as a community manager.
The future groom is the grandson of Lucy and John Flowers of Avondale Estates and Marsha Dyer of Atlanta. He attended Brookwood High School and is a 2003 graduate of St. Pauls School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia State Unviersity. He is employed with Intelliteach as a system analyst.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 13 in Statham.
