Train strikes, kills pedestrian in Conyers

CONYERS (AP) -- Authorities say a pedestrian has been struck and killed by a train in the Rockdale County town of Conyers.

The person was struck late Wednesday night on tracks along Green Street.

Georgia State Patrol officials say the person was walking on the tracks at the time.

The person's identity has not been released.
