SUWANEE -- The Gwinnett County Board of Education voted Thursday evening to approve the new principal for Rock Springs Elementary School.
Connie Hawkins will take the helm at the school effective July 1. Rock Springs is located in the Collins Hill Cluster.
She was formerly employed as assistant principal at Kanoheda Elementary since 2007. Prior to that she was a fifth-grade teacher at Brookwood Elementary.
Hawkins takes the place of Angie Pacholke, who is transferring to Freeman's Mill Elementary.
