NORCROSS -- Gwinnett County firefighters made quick work of a fire at a Norcross business Wednesday evening.
Crews responded to the business at 4615 Old Peachtree Road at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after employees at a neighboring business noticed smoke coming from the 20,000-square-foot warehouse, fire department spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden said.
Firefighters forced entry into the business, which was closed for the day, and found a "small contents fire," Rhoden said. The fire was quickly contained with the help of a sprinkler system, but firefighters remained on the scene because of difficulty accessing the burning materials.
No injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire was undetermined and under investigation Wednesday night.
