ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities say all four people aboard a small jet were hurt when the aircraft ran off a runway in the Atlanta area.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says four people were on board the Hawker Beechcraft 40 that crashed through a fence after leaving the runway at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport around 10 a.m. Monday.
DeKalb County Fire Chief Edward O'Brien says that all four people had already gotten out of the plane when his crews arrived. They were taken to hospitals. Details on their injuries weren't immediately available.
Bergen says the plane went through a fence on the side of the airport near Dresden Road.
Bergen said the plane was arriving from Gadsden, Ala. FAA records show it is registered to a corporation in Centre, Ala.
