LAWRENCEVILLE — A bevy of Fflight issues with the Columbus Clippers delayed the team's arrival in Georgia on Thursday and pushed the scheduled double-header with the Gwinnett Braves to Friday.
Today's scheduled 5:05 p.m. start is now TBA depending on Columbus' arrival in Gwinnett and the teams will play a nine-inning game. The doubleheader will be Friday with a 5:05 p.m. start with two seven-inning games separated by a 30 minute break.
With the new schedule, Jair Jurrjen (3-3, 5.26 ERA) will make the start tonight for the G-Braves and Todd Redmond (5-4, 3.52) and Julio Teheran (5-2, 3.15) will start the respective double-header games Friday. The doubleheader is a make-up game from a rainout May 4 in Columbus. The G-Braves are 4-2 in doubleheaders this season.
Tonight's starter for Columbus is righty Corey Kluber (4-6, 4.14).
