Shiloh's Carr goes in 28th round of MLB Draft

Former Shiloh pitcher Josh Carr was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 28th round of last week's Major League Baseball Amateur Players Draft.

Carr, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander, just finished his senior season at Kennesaw State. He played three seasons with the Owls after starting his career at Andrew College.

Carr led the Atlantic Sun Conference with nine wins this past season and had a 4.01 ERA. Opponents hit just .243 off him and he struck out 66 batters in 89 innings.
