ATLANTA — Miss Georgia, Jasmine Wilkins, says she never saw a list of who would finish in the top five at the Miss USA pageant.
That top five included Wilkins, who's a nursing student at Georgia State. She finished as the fourth runner-up.
Sheena Monnin stepped down as Miss Pennsylvania last week and claimed the top five in the pageant had been arranged on a list before the finals from Las Vegas on June 3.
Wilkins said that someone may have seen a rehearsal list, but she knows in her heart that there was no predetermined list of the top five. Wilkins attributed Monnin's comments to sour grapes.
Wilkins is a graduate of Wesleyan, a private school in Norcross.
